Tabu and Ajay Devgn Movies: Bollywood movies are renowned for their dramatic storyline, climax, and catchy songs. However, none of these will affect the viewers if each of the characters is doing justice to their roles. We are talking about the cast of any Bollywood movie that plays a very important role in building the story and making the movie a blockbuster hit. Bollywood has given us some of the most iconic on-screen couples that have not only swooned us with their chemistry but also made us believe them being real-life couples. From the iconic duo of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan to Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha, Bollywood has given us some of the best on-screen couples, and one of them is Ajay Devgn and Tabu. 

The duo is best known for their unbreakable chemistry, and both are set to once again captivate the audience with their upcoming movie ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’. Before AMKDT, Tabu and Ajay have worked together in many movies, let’s take a look.

Drishyam

The popular movie franchise ‘Drishyam’ was a Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie of the same name, starring actor Mohanlal, and Esther Anil, among others. The Hindi remake starred Tabu as Inspector General of Police Meera Deshmukh, who suspects Vijay’s (Devgn) family of killing his son Sam, who threatened Vijay’s daughter by making an inappropriate video and asking for sexual favours. The movie received so much appreciation that a second part was also released in 2022. 

Bholaa

The 2023 film is a remake of 2019 Tamil movie Kaithi, and stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao, and Vineet Kumar. The movie grossed approx Rs 111 Cr at the box office, receiving mixed responses from the audience. Tabu played the role of SP Diana Joseph, who is on a quest to uncover the infamous Sikka Gang with a prisoner named Bholaa, played by Devgn. 

Golmaal Again

The fourth installment of the popular Hindi comedy film Golmaal Again starred Ahay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Johnny Lever. The movie was released in 2017 on Diwali, and became the highest-grossing film of that year, with a total collection of around Rs 244 Cr. The film is a light-hearted horror comedy with a captivating storyline. 

De De Pyar De

Luv Ranjan’s ‘De De Pyaar De’ starred Tabu, Ajay Devgn, and Rakulpree in lead roles. This romantic comedy was released in May 2019, earning a gross collection of Rs 143 Cr approx. Tabu and Ajay are playing the role of a separated couple with Tabu living in India with their children, and Ajay is an NRI investor in London, where he meets Ayesha (Rakulpreet) and they both start dating each other. Things go wrong when they both decide to return to India to meet Devgn’s family, and the chaos begin.

Vijaypath

The 1994 film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Danny Dengzopa. The action-thriller movie revolves around the revenge of Karan (Ajay Devgn) on Dilawar Singh (Dengzopa) for the murdering Justice Saxena’s wife and throws his son out of the train, who donates his eyes to Karan before dying. Amidst this, Karan meets Mohini (Tabu), a police commissioner’s daughter and both fall in love with each other. 

Haqeeqat

Haqeeqat was released in 1995 starring Tabu and Ajay Devgn. Ajay plays the role of Shiva who works for a gangster. After failing to kill the Chief Minister, Shiva then flees to Mumbai to live as Ajay and meets a woman Sudha (Tabu), and falls in love with her. After leaving their pasts behind and starting afresh, things take a turn when Ajay finds out that he killed Sudha’s first husband.
