In order to find title sponsors for the Indian cricket teams, including the men's, women's, and age group teams, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has published a tender. The Indian cricket teams are now without a title sponsor following the expiration of their previous agreement with ed-tech startup BYJU'S. To purchase the rights to be the National Team Lead Sponsor, the board has issued a request for proposals. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah issued a statement in which he said, "The BCCI invites bids from reputed entities for acquiring the National Team Lead Sponsor rights."
BCCI shared a list of brand categories that have been banned from applying for title sponsorship of Indian cricket teams.
Sportswear manufacturer
Liquor products
Betting
Cryptocurrencies
Real money gaming (excluding fantasy sports gaming)
Tobacco
That is likely to offend public morals. Like pornography.
Tender forms can be acquired for Rs. 5 lakh, which is a non-refundable price. The purchasing period will end on June 26. Separate payment information for Indian and foreign organizations was also supplied by BCCI. Even if they wanted to, not all organizations that satisfy the financial requirements may seek to be the Indian cricket team's title sponsor. The board has placed restrictions on some institutions' ability to apply.
