Amid rising tension with the Telangana government, Governor Tamilsai Soundararajan said he suspects his phone is being tapped. He alleged that an undemocratic situation has arisen in the state. My privacy is being violated. Simultaneously, the Governor targeted the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) for dragging the Raj Bhavan into the alleged horse-trading case of MLAs.
Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan expressed doubts that their phones were being tapped. I suspect that my phones have been tapped, Sundararajan told a press conference. There is an undemocratic situation in the state, especially with respect to the honor of the Governor, I want to clarify all those things. Recently some social media posts linking Raj Bhavan to the case of horse-trading of TRS MLAs surfaced. Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan refused to elaborate on this.
TRS has denied these allegations of the governor. Earlier, TRS had accused Raj Bhavan of tapping the phones of party functionaries. The TRS made these allegations citing a conversation with a former colleague.
