Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya: Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor's starrer robotic love story will have its theatrical release on 9 February. The advance booking for the film falls short of Rs. 1 Crore for the release day 1.

The movie is set to hit the theaters on Friday, and the early estimates corroborate it to have a genial start with an advance booking of Rs. 93.66 lakh for day 1 per the reports of Sacnilk.com. The movie has a minty perspective of emotions meeting electrical in a family drama, positioning it to impress the viewers with romance, light-hearted comedy, and family entertainment. 

Domestically, Mumbai and Delhi have the highest advance collection for the movie of Rs. 39.49 lakh and Rs. 31.51 lakh respectively, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Gujrat sharing a stage at Rs. 16 lakh. It is noteworthy to mention, that ‘’ is a solo release in the valentine week, lending it leverage to gain a hike in booking adhering to its sci-fi romance genre. Internationally, the movie is expected to have a promising start in Australia and New Zealand.  

Censors on Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya   

As per the reports of numerous media outlets, the film faced some censoring at the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It is reported that some scenes and dialogues have been cut and altered before declaring unrestricted with parental guidance with a U/A certificate.  

Reportedly, the central board had ‘reduced the scene of sex act by 25%’ editing 9 seconds from the original 36 seconds long scene to 24 seconds. According to the reports, the word ‘daru’ has also been replaced with a mild ‘drink’.

‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ is written by Amrit Joshi and Araddhna Sah with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Film backing the film. It also stars Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, and Rakesh Bedi.
