The US Urges India To Use Its Ties With Russia For Bringing An End To Putin’s ‘Illegal War’

World News:  Amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the United States has urged India to use its long-standing relations with President Putin to put an end to the illegal war between the two States. 

US urges India to bring peace 

The spokesperson of the US State Department in a press briefing said, “The United States encouraged India to utilize that relationship with Russia and the unique position that they have to urge President Putin to end his illegal war and to find a lasting peace to this conflict um to tell Vladimir Putin to respect the UN Charter to respect Ukraine's Territorial Integrity uh and sovereignty.”
