Tiger 3 OTT Release: Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif Starrer Spy Franchise Available On This Streaming Platform

Tiger 3 On OTT: After receiving mixed responses from the audience, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 has been made available to stream digitally. The movie is the fifth entry in Yash Raj’s Spy universe after EK Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathan. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 hit theatres on 12 November 2023 with a bang-on success and craze among fans. The movie minted a worldwide collection of about Rs 464 Cr, Rs 339 Cr from national and Rs 124 Cr from international grounds. Both Salman and Katrina are reprising their roles as Tiger and Zoya respectively, with the main focus shifting to the new villain played by Emraan Hashmi. 

Tiger 3 On Amazon Prime

OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video made it official on its “X” channel and wrote, "We heard the roars, tiger is on his way. #Tiger3OnPrime, coming soon @BeingSalmanKhan #KatrinaKaif @emraanhashmi #ManeeshSharma @yrf.” Earlier, the streaming platform didn’t share the official release date when the movie will be released. The movie is expected to create a stir in the digital realm after running for almost five weeks in theatres.

Despite being released on the day of the festival, Tiger 3 became Salman Khan’s highest opening ever when it opened to Rs 43 crore on November 12 on the occassion of Diwali. On the second day of its theatrical release, the movie surpassed the Rs 100 crore milestone. But by the second week, the ICC Men Cricket World Cup was slowing down Tiger 3’s business. 

Tiger 3 Story

The story unfolds following the events of Tiger Zinda Hai, War (2019), and Pathaan (2023). In the aftermath of the events in Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger and Zoya are falsely accused of betrayal by Aatish Rehman (Emraan Hashmi), a former ISI agent. Emraan Hashmi played the antagonist in this film, which featured Salman and Katrina reprising their roles as Tiger and Zoya. The excitement of fans was heightened with two blockbuster cameos of Shah Rukh Khan as ‘Pathaan’ and Hrithik Roshan as ‘Kabir’ appearing alongside Salman Khan in this action film.
