Tiku Weds Sheru Trailer Release: Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur pair up for Kangana Ranaut's First Production

Amazon prime video has released Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s upcoming comedy-drama ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ trailer, which also stars Avneet Kaur in the title role. The movie, which was directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav, is the debut production of Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika Films and their first association with the streaming site. Both Nawazuddin Siddiqui and rising sensation Avneet Kaur are sharing screen space as the lead in ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’.

On its YouTube channel, Amazon Prime Video shared a two-minute trailer, showcasing the relationship between Tiku and Sheru, two polar opposites who got married, as Tiku thinks her marriage as a chance to move to Mumbai and realise her acting ambition. Sheru, on the other hand, has been working hard in the industry for years as a junior artist. The film is full of amusing one-liners and promises to portray an unconventional love tale, along with highlighting various problems faced by common people in their life.

The movie is directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav and produced by actress Kangana Ranaut’s production house Manikarnika Films. This is the maiden film of Kangana’s production house, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur for the first time, who has a 27-year age gap between them. Tiku Weds Sheru will release on 23rd June, 2023 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Earlier, the makers released the movie poster, introducing Nawazuddinas Shiraz Khan Afghani, also known as Sheru, and Avneet as Tasleem Khan, also known as Tiku. The movie also stars Sanjay Mishra, Zarina Wahab, Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Hemant Kumar, and Nikki Tamboli in supporting roles.
