The PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, which would give free food grains to the nation's underprivileged, will cost Rs 2 lakh crore, according to the Modi administration. She claimed that during the Corona pandemic, we prevented anyone from going to bed hungry by distributing food to 80 crore needy people. Families in priority categories and Antyodaya will receive free food grains.
Five kilogrammes of food grains are given away each month to all cardholders free of charge as part of the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. According to the district supply officer, wheat and rice have been given thus far. Additionally, millet has now arrived. The card holders will also get access to a set amount of millet. According to the budget statement, qualified families will receive assistance for a full year.
