UPSSSC PET Exam: UP Police action in UP PET exam, 23 solvers arrested

Today is the second day of UPSSSC's UP PET exam. During this, candidates are going to take the exam in their shift. However, on the first day, the students had to face many problems. There was a huge crowd at railway stations and buses, due to which UP PET has been discussed on social media all day. UP Police and STF have arrested 23 accused of the solver gang in today's examination of the first day on Saturday and the second day on Sunday.

Arrested people from these places

The candidates were arrested on Saturday, October 15, 2022, according to a statement from the headquarters of the Special Task Force in Bijnor. As reported by PTI, the candidates were taken into custody by the police. The UP STF has arrested three out of nine people from Unnao, one from Amethi, one from Meerut, two from Jaunpur, and two from Kanpur.

The Special Task Force has even registered an FIR against the fraudsters. According to the PTI report, the two accused are Pushpendra Yadav and Ankit Kumar Maurya, residents of Prayagraj district, and Satyam Kumar Pandey, a resident of West Champaran in Bihar. He was appearing in Unnao on behalf of the original candidate.

50 Thousand rupees from 1 candidate

UP STF has arrested a total of 23 people including gang members, solvers, and candidates for taking huge amounts of money from the candidates in the examination and for making solvers and copying through other means. In this, 3 people have been arrested from the Unnao district. At the same time, 2-2 people have been arrested from Amethi, Kanpur, and Jaunpur. 2 from Jaunpur, 3 from Lucknow, 2 from Kanpur and 1 solver from Meerut have been arrested. The arrested accused were appearing for the examination in place of another candidate. During interrogation, the accused from STF told that 50 thousand rupees were taken from a candidate.
