UPTET Exam 2021-22: The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 has released the New UPTET Exam Date 2021. The exam was postponed to January 2022. 

On the official website,upbasiceduboard.gov.in, the New UPTET 2021 Exam Date has been released by the board. The UPTET Exam Date will be held on 23rd January 2022. 

The UPTET Exam was earlier scheduled for 28th November 2021. Due to the paper leak the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) Director, Sarvendra Vikram Singh announced the cancellation.

New Exam Date: UPTET 2021-22

All candidates are eagerly waiting for pf UPTET exam after its cancellation in November 2021. 

According to the official notice, the UPTET Exam date will be scheduled for 23rd January 2022. The exam will be going to be held in 2 shifts for both papers. 


Revision Methods for UPTET Exam 2021


  • Wake Up Early in the Morning: Start your day as early as possible. You have to learn the proper time management if you want o ace any government exam in India. Through this, you will have enough time to complete the revision of all major topics.

  • Understanding your Potential and Acumen: Do not overburden yourself by excessive studying because mugging up won’t help during the examination. Understand your potential and study as per it. 

  • Give equal time to every subject: Some students waste time on a single subject, this mistake should be eliminated as every subject in the examination has an equal weightage. Pay attention to your tough areas but do not altogether neglect any particular subject.

  • Practice, Practice, Practice!: Especially for the subjects like MAthematics a candidate should be disciplined to practice every day to keep the concepts crisp and fresh in your mind.

  • Take Breaks: It is very important for the candidate to take a rest for the studies as well. Go for a walk or engage in any hobby to relieve yourself from the exam stress.


Job Opportunities after UPTET 2021-22

UPTET 202 Exam is scheduled to happen on 23 January 2022 after it got postponed in November due to the reports of paper leaks. Around 13.52 lacs candidates have applied for the Primary Teacher posts and 8.93 lacs candidates applied for the Upper Teaching Posts. 

After clearing the UPTET Exam 2021 teachers can be recruited in primary and secondary schools, i.e. class-1 to 5 and class- 6 to 8 respectively. Further scope after getting the certificate of UPTET 2021

  • A headmaster in Primary or Secondary school

  • A senior teacher in Primary or Secondary school

  • An assistant teacher in Primary or Secondary school

  • A senior teacher in Upper Primary School

  • A principal in a Higher grade school.


Importance of UPTET Certificate

The government has recently announced that if a candidate clears the UPTET Exam then the certificate of the same will be valid for the lifetime. So all candidates should give their best in order to pass this examination. 

  •  In the Uttar Pradesh State, according to the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB), a UPTET certificate is the minimum eligibility to get a government teaching job.

  • Many Private educational institutions only prefer or give preference to candidates who have qualified for UPTET. 


UPTET 2021 Cut Off

  • General Category: Minimum Qualifying Percentage- 60% ( 90 out of 150)

  • OBC/SC/ST Category: Minimum Qualifying Percentage- 50%(82 out of 150)



On the official website of UPTET 2021, the admit cards will be released for UPTET Exam 2021. For the UPTET Admit Card 2021, the applicant has to download the admit card from the website. Separate Admit Cards will be released for candidates appearing for UPTET 2021 Paper-1 and Paper-2.
