Usha Vance Recalls Meeting PM Modi, Reveals ‘Kids Put Him in Grandfather Category’
Usha Vance on India Visit: US Second Lady Usha Vance recalls her meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “very special moment” at the US-India Strategic Partnership forum in Washington, DC.
Sharing her kids' experience with the PM in India, she recalled how the kids were jetlagged from the travel and suddenly found a comforting grandfather figure in the Indian PM. She said that the kids were sleep-deprived, and “they saw an Indian man with a white beard and white hair; they just put him in the grandfather category immediately.” She further underscored that it was the children's first trip to India.
US Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance visited India in April with children Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
