The recently updated Yamaha MT 15 V2 has made its way. MT 15 is based on R15 and shares the same engine, platform and cycle parts with it. The Mt-15 V2 is available in the market in 2 variants with 4 colours. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Yamaha MT-15 V2 Engine and Performance

The bike is powered by a 155cc BS6 engine and powers a 18.12 bhp and a torque of 14.1Nm.It get’s disc brakes in both front and rear end and also includes anti-locking braking system. The fuel tank capacity is 10 litres. The engine is equipped with a six speed gearbox and a slipper clutch as well. 

The bike is ensured with VVA technology to get proper balance on high speed drives. Further specifications include a dual shock ABS, 170 inch wheels shod and 100/80 front and 140/70 rear tubeless tires.

The new Yamaha MT-15 V2 is priced at 1,59,900 ex-showroom price Delhi. The new version is 13000 more costlier than the previous version and is really worth it. The price is only fixed on one variant and with the upgrades the price gets higher. 

The new colours in the version are the new Cyan Storm and Racing Blue colour options, along with Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Metallic Black colour options.The bike rivals many sports bikes like the Duke KTM 125 and Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.

The MT-15 V2 gets a LCD instrument cluster with a bluetooth connection and  Y connect smartphone app. These features help us in accessing additional activities like calling, messaging, reminders, last parked locations, sms alerts, reminders malfunction alert and post ride stats. Other features that make it distinct is the LED headlight and tail lamp.
