Weather Alert: Chilling Cold Grips North India, Yellow Alert For Dense Fog In Delhi-NCR, UP, Rajasthan

Weather Report:  The weather in Northern Indian states is soon turning into a challenge to everyday life with dipping temperatures and dense fog enveloping the states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab. The chilling cold grips Delhi-NCR as well. 

The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for dense fog in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab with the visibility reducing to 50 to 200 meters. 

Rajasthan is experiencing a fresh cold wave with temperatures as low as 3.1°C in Ajmer. 

Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir on the other hand are under the blanket of snow with more snowfall expected in upcoming days.
