Weather Update: As the month of December progresses, many regions are experiencing severe cold conditions and chilly winds are making the weather worse. The hilly regions are experiencing heavy snowfall, due to which the temperature is rapidly decreasing in the plains as well. According to the latest weather report by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), areas including the national capital, UP, and other north Indian states may experience cold waves and further temperature drop.
Following the hilly areas, the plains are experiencing a cold wave-like condition as cold and chill levels rise. On Sunday, Delhi’s temperature was significantly lower than Shimla’s. The cold outbreak is expected to continue in Delhi and its adjacent areas till today. The highest temperature may remain between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of 4 to 7 degrees Celsius. Light fog may also prevail.
