Weather Update: Due to western disturbance, there has been continuous rainfall in the hilly regions of the country, including Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, rain and snowfall have been observed in the Jammu region and Arunachal Pradesh. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh today. The Meteorological Department said that a new western disturbance is becoming active due to which snowfall can be seen in hilly areas on March 4.
The month of February recorded a sudden increase in temperatures, leading to warm days. People were troubled with the scorching sun, which made it feel like April already. On the other hand, talking about March, the weather department has predicted more hot days ahead, increasing the difficulty for citizens. However, the recent shift in weather in the hilly regions has also dropped the temperature on the plains.
