Japanese brand Lexus on Wednesday launched the 2022 facelift model of its luxury SUV Lexus NX 350h in India. The new Lexus NX is a hybrid luxury SUV and the new generation model gets a lot of technology and features along with more power. The NX is one of the best selling vehicles of Lexus and will compete in the high-end midsize SUV space in India as well. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
Lexus NX 350h Exterior
The new NX is also bigger and looks quite spacious, while the front grille has also been styled beautifully. Unlike the old NX, DRLs are housed inside the headlamps which are accompanied by an LED projector unit with a new lighting pattern. The side view gets stronger lines and a lower roofline which makes it more of a coupe SUV in terms of design. You also get bigger 20-inch wheels which suit the rest of the design. The rear gets major changes with new LED tail-lamps connecting to the light bar and new Lexus lettering at the rear.
Lexus NX 350h Interior
The car (Lexus NX 350h) gets a panoramic sunroof, 64 ambient lighting, premium Mark Levinson surround sound system with 17 speakers. The car gets a 14-inch infotainment system, soft-touch door opening, fully digital instrument cluster and gorgeous interiors. The steering also gets capacitive controls while some other highlights include electric door latches (for both outside/inside) that replace the normal door handle with the largest/clearest heads-up display that can also be customised.
Lexus NX 350h Engine and Performance
The luxury SUV 2022 Lexus NX 350h is powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine. The car's engine can generate power up to 192HP. By combining petrol and hybrid units, it generates 244HP power. This engine is mated to a 6-step e-CVT transmission. The company has introduced this car in three trim levels – Luxury, Exquisite and F-Sport. A robust hybrid also offers advantages for fuel efficiency, with 14-16kmpl expected to be expected when driven slowly – a figure much higher than the competitors.
