Yodha Box Office Opening Collection: Sidharth Malhotra’s latest movie ‘Yodha’ was released on 15 March, and the movie has received mixed reviews from the viewers. On its opening day, the movie started with decent earnings at the box office, with an average occupancy. The movie stars Disha Patani and Rashii Khanna in key roles and is based on a rescue operation unfolding high-octane aerial action sequences with promising visuals.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre directorial grossed Rs 4.25 Cr. Yodha saw a total occupancy rate of 13.86 percent on Friday. In Mumbai, the occupancy rate was 15.5% with 589 shows, while in Delhi-NCR, it was 14.25% with 693 shows. Yodha competed with Adah Sharma's film Bastar: The Naxal Story, which earned only Rs 50 lakh on its first day. The Sidharth Malhotra starrer is up against Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan, which has already grossed Rs 100 crore globally. Prodcued by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions along with Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan, ‘Yodha’ marks the directorial debut of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
Sidharth has previously worked in several movies, his last hit being 2016’s ‘Kapoor and Sons’, which starred Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan, and Rishi Kapoor and grossed Rs 73.29 Cr at the box office. The actor received high praise for his 2021 biopic film ‘Shershaah’, which was released on Amazon Prime Video. Since the film was released digitally, it was unable to reach the box office. Sidharth’s most recent release, ‘Thank God’, grossed only Rs 34.89 Cr. Films such as ‘Marjaavaan’, ‘Jabariya Jodi’, and ‘Aiyaary’ made Rs 47.78 crore, Rs 16.33 crore, and Rs 18.22 crore respectively. Sidharth recently made his OTT debut in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Indian Police Force’, along side Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi.
