Zomato’s Veg fleet controversy after launching green uniform for veg food delivery

Zomato Veg Fleet:  Zomato is a leading food delivery company in the country catering to the food needs of people in different regions. The founder of Zomato, Deepinder Goyal recently introduced the ‘Pure Veg’ fleet for its vegetarian customers. Goyal also announced a green uniform for delivery personnel which led to a whirlwind of reaction on the internet.  

“All riders will wear red”

Offering a solution to the controversial change of dress code, Goyal took to his X handle again to announce that all the riders would wear red uniforms despite the choice of food they were delivering. The reaction came after a backlash faced by the company on the internet.
