Govt had taken up issue of violation of 1267 sanctions regime in respect of Lakhvi: MEA

MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said on Tuesday that the Indian government had taken up the issue of violation of 1267 sanctions regime in respect of Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi. He said that the 1267 committee has been created under chapter 7 of UN charter and its decisions are binding on all member countries of UN.
