2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto || First Look, Features, Specifications and Price

Maruti Suzuki is going to bring a new avatar of its Alto (Maruti Alto 2022) on August 18. Alto was first launched in 2000 and has become India's favourite car since 2004. It ruled for 16 years. Now the upcoming new Alto is also going to be quite special like before. It is believed that major changes have been made in the design and features of the new Alto. Let’s take a look at its specifications. 

Maruti Suzuki Alto 2022 Specifications

Maruti Suzuki Alto is likely to get the current 800cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine. The company may also include a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which was earlier introduced in the Alto K10. This small car will also get a CNG-powered model. Latest reports claim that Maruti is planning to relaunch the Alto K10 nameplate.

On the inside, Alto 2022 is expected to become roomier, all thanks to the bigger size of the new car. To accommodate more space, Maruti has upsized the Alto along with a longer wheelbase. Overall cabin ambiance is also said to be updated while featuring a new design as seen on the newly launched Celerio. Apart from design, the new Alto is expected to use some segment-first features.

The new Maruti Alto 2022 will come with all-new exteriors. It will get bigger sweptback headlamps, new bumpers and taillights. The front face will get a new and bigger grille with a design similar to the new Celerio. The hatchback is taller than before and gets a boxer side profile. The new model gets a flat roofline and attractive fenders. 

Maruti Suzuki Alto 2022 Price

The current Alto price starts at Rs 3.39 lakh. It is believed that the price of the new car can be higher than this. The new Alto can range from Rs 3.50 lakh to 4 lakh.
