R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Sheikh’s Romantic Drama “Aap Jaisa Koi” Release Date Unveiled

Aap jaisa Koi: The charm of retro romance is set to return on OTT with a fuzzy love story of a sophisticated man and a feisty and young woman who fall in love but the odds are not in their favor. Netflix’s “Aap jaisa Koi” has finally got a release date.

Starring R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Sheik as Shrirenu, a reserved Sanskrit teacher and Madhu, as a feisty French instructor respectively, Aap Jaisa Koi is a romantic endeavour from Netflix. 

A family drama with romance at the core of it, Aap jaisa Koi is one of the most anticipated dramas on Netflix as it brings the lover boy era of Madhavan back to life after a long time.

Director of the film, Vivek Soni shared about Aap jaisa Koi calling it a “ film about breaking free from the walls we build around ourselves.” He said, “ It's about embracing the awkwardness and vulnerability of love. Working with Netflix again after Meenakshi Sundareshwar has been a fulfilling experience, and I’m excited to present a love story that’s tender, messy, and intimate, one that embraces vulnerability without losing its charm and breeziness. Bankrolled by Karan Johar and Adar Poonawalla’s Dharmatic Entertainment, Aap jaisa Koi is set to release on 11 July on Netflix.
