Action on Gangster: Gangster Mukhtar Ansari's brother Afzal's property worth Rs 15 crore attached

Once again major action has been taken against Mukhtar Ansari's brother and BSP MP Afzal Ansari in Ghazipur, UP. This action was taken against him in a case registered under the Gangster Act. In this action, four properties of Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari were attached. The total value of the attached property is being said to be around 15 crores.

Property attached under section 14(1)

This action has been taken against Afzal Ansari under Section 14(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Gangband and Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act, 1986. A large number of police were deployed in the village for action against Afzal Ansari. Immovable property worth Rs 90,00000 was attached under section 14(1) of the Gangster Act.

SP Rohan P. Botre said that action is going on in Ghazipur district against those who acquire wealth and property illegally. This action was taken against him in a case registered under the Gangster Act, in this action the property of Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari was attached, it is being said that the total value of the attached property is about 15 crores.

SP’s comment on the situation

He said that Afzal Ansari's land properties in Mauja Mancha, Panetha, Narsinghpur and Khardiha villages were attached. Some of these plots also have the names of their daughters registered. The above immovable land property has been attached related to non-rejection of illegal purchase and sale and donating after preparing donation records.
