Adipurush OTT release date:Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush, which became a major box office debacle has now sealed the OTT platform for its digital streaming in Hindi language. The OM Raut directorial was released today i.e on 11th August digitally in India and overseas. The film high on VFX was released in theaters on June 16th 2023 and was based on the Indian epic Ramayana. Here is everything to know about its OTT release date and time.

Where to watch Adipurush on OTT

After completing 2 months of its theatrical run, Adipurush has started streaming on OTT giant Netflix in Hindi. The film was already released on Amazon Prime video in 4 South languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The mythological drama initially aired in Telugu and Hindi, while the other three languages were added as dubbing.

Reportedly, the OTT platforms spent a staggering Rs, 250 Crore to acquire the digital rights of Adipurush. The film known to be the modern retelling of Ramayana is a massively expensive film with a Rs 600 Crore budget, and has already generated a staggering Rs 270 crores from theatre distribution rights in both Hindi and Telugu.

Adipurush lifetime box office collection

Made on a massive budget of Rs 600 Crore, the film managed to mount only 390 Crore on worldwide box office collection, making it one of the biggest commercial failures. Despite adding refined touch and so many script changes, Adipurush failed to strike a chord with audiences who find it nothing but a tampering of history. Adipurush was also heavily criticized for its poor selection of dialogues and bad VFX.
