Akshaya Tritiya 2025: Essential Do’s and Don’t To Follow On Akha Teej

Akshaya Tritiya 2025: One of the significant occasions in the Hindu and Jain religion, Akshaya Tritiya is believed to be the day when Lord Kuber, the god of wealth, was bestowed upon the responsibility of guarding the riches of heaven with the blessings of Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma. Therefore, any good deed or noble action performed on Akshaya Tritiya is known to bring multifold prosperity and wealth.

Beyond the financial merit of the day, Akshaya Tritiya is a day about health, happiness, prosperity, and abundance, which is believed to come back to the doer through the cycle of Karma. That is also the reason people buy gold, silver, properties, or give alms and do donations on this day.

For the unversed, the word ‘Akshaya’ means imperishable, and Tritiya is the third day of the lunar fortnight. Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on the third day of the Shukla Paksha (waxing moon) in the Hindu month of Vaisakha (April-May). This year, Akshaya Tritiya falls on 30 April.  Any new endeavour started on this day is believed to bring lasting prosperity.
