The film Brahmāstra will be released in two parts, the  Part One: Shiva is scheduled to release on 9th September,2022. The film is  written and directed by the filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, and it is produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
