Allahabad University Students Face Loss Of Syllabus and Delayed Exam Due To Maha Kumbh 2025

Maha Kumbh 2025: The largest spiritual gathering of the world, Maha Kumbh 2025, concluded with a final bath on the occasion of Mahashivratri on 26 February 2025. After the conclusion, the students of Allahabad University opened up about the challenges they faced due to the spiritual event.

Students revealed that the traffic diversions during the holy bath or maha snan have resulted in delaying classes and excessive university holidays as it was difficult to manage the crowd of pilgrims and students at the same time. 

Many also reported that their exam dates have been pushed more than once, with the syllabus struggling to be completed in the required time. Other students even claimed that the news of Maha Kumbh 2025 to occur after 144 years under one of the rarest planetary alignments was not factual information but a propaganda started by the government and shared by the media.
