Bappi Lahiri Amazing Facts: The legendary Bollywood singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri passed away at the age of 69. The veteran singer had been showing mild symptoms of COVID and he was admitted to the CritiCare hospital. Singer Alokesh Lahiri, who was commonly known as Bappi Lahiri was admitted to the CritiCare of Mumbai since he was showing mild COVID symptoms. On Wednesday morning, the popular Bollywood singer died. The singer faced multiple health issues. As per reports, Dr Deepak Namjoshi, the director of the hospital said, “He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight.”
Known for one of his most popular songs ‘Disco Dancer’ Bappi Lahiri was known for giving some of the greatest hits of the late 1970s-80s like Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer, Sharaabi etc. His last performance in Bollywood music was from the 2020 film Baaghi 3. Lahiri was recently seen on the reality tv show Bigg Boss 15, he was there for the promotion of the launch of his grandson's song called Baccha Party.
