The Disco King of India, the Gold lover Bappi Lehri breathed his last leaving the mortal world. His demise also made a void in the industry as he was the trend setter in the industry who introduced India with Disco Songs.
When we think of Bappi Lehiri, we just can't forget his mailing face and style statement full of gold jewelry. But one more thing which made Bappi Da famous was his Disco Song. In Fact it was Bappi Lehri himself who introduced the entertainment industry with the Disco trend giving back to back hits in the 90's.
Bappi Lahiri who ruled the disco tracks got his prowess in music from his mother. He was born in a Bengali family and his mother and father Aparesh Lahiri and Bansuri Lahiri were both Bengali singers and musicians in classical music.
After the demise of the disco king, the social media was filled with fans' emotional notes and condolences. Amitabh Bachchan, who had collaborated with Bappi Lahiri in many songs, also penned down a special note for the late singer.
Let us tell you that the last rights of Bappi Lahiri will be performed in Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai. His family was waiting for his son’s arrival from the USA to perform the last rites.
