Amrit Udyan Welcomes Public Visits Starting February 2 – Explore Timings and Ticket Costs & Ways to Reach
Amrit Udyan Utsav: Amrit Udyan formerly known as Mughal Gardens will be accessible to common masses from 2nd February 2024 to 31st March 2024. Situated within the complex of Rashtrapati Bhawan, the garden boasts a variety of native and oriental flower species, offering a picturesque and serene landscape.
Timings & Entry for Visitors
The garden door will be opened for visitors from 10 am to 5 pm with last entry permitted till 4 pm. The Udyan will be having special opening dates dedicated to diverse groups. On 22nd February the gardens will be available only for differently-abled people, the next day 23rd Feb is dedicated to paramilitary, police forces, and defense personnel. March 1 and 5 will be reserved for women and tribal women’s self-help groups and children residing in orphanages respectively.

Gate no. 35 of the President's Estate will be the entry and exit gate for visitors on all the dedicated days except every Monday for maintenance and 25th March 2024, marking the occasion of Holi.
Entry Fee
The entry to the garden is free of cost for all individuals during the Udyan Utsav either via online booking and direct ‘walk-in’.
How to book tickets?
For Walk-in visitors
The walk-in visitors are mandated to register themselves at the Registration/Information Center or Self-Service kiosks before entering.
For Online Booking
To book your slot via digital means, visit: https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in/
Online bookings are available in hourly slots and require an advance booking 10 days before your planned visit, along with a phone number allowing one booking per mobile number.
People planning to make a group trip can make a reservation of up to 30 people in a single booking.
Visitors need to carry their visitor pass along with a government-issued ID proof at the entry.
How to reach?
The nearest meteors to reach the destination are the Central Secretariat, Shivaji Stadium, Patel Chowk, and RK Ashram, in the proximity of 1-3 km. From the metro, easy transportation via shuttle bus services is available from the Central Secretariat to entry gate no. 35 arriving at the interval of 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 5 pm.
