Bangladesh News: Hindus Receiving Threat, Will Only Be Allowed to Celebrate Durga Puja on One Condition

Bangladesh News: In Bangladesh, the Hindu community has once again become the target. Islamic fundamentalist organizations reportedly threatened temples and committees with letters demanding 5 lakh Bangladeshi Taka to continue the Durga Puja events. If the money is not paid, the Hindus will suffer serious consequences, including damaging Durga Maa's idol and extortion threats.

 

Hindu Puja Committee Receiving Threats

According to reports, radical Islamic groups have demanded 5 lakh Bangladeshi Taka from temples and committees to celebrate Durga Puja. Durga Puja will be held from October 9 to 13. As this is one of the most renowned and important festivals among Bangladeshi Hindus, these incidents have been reported in many locations. It is stated that several Puja committees have received anonymous letters threatening them with severe consequences if they do not pay the money and will not allow Durga Puja.
