Bullet Train Fire Incident: A big fire broke out at the first Sabarmati bullet train station in Ahmedabad. According to reports, the fire started at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. After receiving the report, 14 fire department cars arrived and extinguished the fire. It took more than two hours to put out the fire. The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has provided details regarding this incident.
The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRLC) reported that the roof shuttering in an under-construction station caught fire. According to preliminary investigations, a spark during welding could have caused the incident. NHSRLC also stated that there has been no report of any injuries or casualties in this occurrence. The Sabarmati bullet train station is part of the 508-kilometre Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project.
