From apologizing for the atrocities of the British Raj to chanting Jai Shree Ram on stage, several moments have been viral from the show. Take a look at some of the top viral moments that stole the internet and made the audience go awe.

Apologizing for the British Raj

On the second day of his performance in Mumbai as a part of the Music of the Sphere tour, Chris Martin addressed the audience expressing their gratitude for attending the concert and showering them with so much love. He then went to apologize for all the “bad things” Great Britain did to India as their colony. He said, “It is amazing to us that you welcome us even though we are from Great Britain. Thank you for forgiving us for all of the bad things that Great Britain has done.”

Greeting fans in Hindi

On the first day of the concert, Chris Martin took all his fans by surprise by greeting them in Hindi. Talking to his audience Martin said, “Mumbai Mein Aake Bohot Khushi Ho Rahi Hai” making the crowd go crazy. The clip was soon viral on the internet.

Romantic proposal gone wrong

The viral shoutout of Chris Martin to the Indian cricketer Jaspreet Bumrah was all over the internet. But the spontaneous personality of the band’s frontman led to a failed proposal that night. A man went to his knees to propose to his girlfriend while the band performed Sky Full of Stars. However, Martin unknowingly ruined the proposal by getting all the attention on him by mentioning Bumrah.

Chanting Jai Shree Ram

Martin was busy with his fans' interactions when a fan was holding a placard saying ‘Jai Shree Ram’ on it. Reading out the poster he chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and the crowd went into a frenzy.
