The year 2023 was a rollercoaster of a ride for some Bollywood actors as well. It helped them reclaim the glory they once had, but got faded with time, and projects. Actors including Bobby Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Sunny Deol, who were forgotten with time, replenished their craze with some of the big block blasters of bollywood.

King Khan made a comeback like no other with three mega-hits, Pathaan, Jawaan, and Dunki. Pathaan did a business of ₹1,050.30 crores, while Jawaan grossed ₹1,140.5 crore globally. Dunki hit the theaters on 21 December and has crossed Rs. 154 crores on day three and is still counting.
Rajnikanth
Rajnikanth’s Jailor directed by Nelson Dilipkumar has been a commendable comeback of the Tollywood superstar. The glory and stardom of Rajnikanth is no mystery to anyone. His performance in the movie increased the love and respect the actor has earned over the years manifolds.
Bobby Deol
Bobby Deol’s journey in Bollywood started with Barsat in 1995 starring alongside Twinkle Khanna. The blockbuster movie won him the Filmfare Award For Best Male Debut. His filmography saw many successful projects until his era was replaced by someone new.
In 2023, Animal helmed by Sadeep Reddy Vanga gave Bobby Deol the perfect opportunity to display his dexterity as an actor and win the audience that too in a negative role. The movie christened him as ‘Lord Bobby’ amongst his admirers.
Sunny Deol
Sunny Deol has been a part of the Bolly tribe since 1983 Betaab. He gave his fans many iconic characters like Kaashi, Narshimha, and Tara Singh among others. Tara Singh from Gadar became his stepping stone one more time in 2023, with the sequel of his 2001 partition action-romance Gadar. Gadar 2 in 2023 did a gross business of ₹691.08 crore, retrieving the craze of ‘Sunny Paaji.’
Ameesha Patel
Gadar 2 proved to be the apex in the career of Ameesha Patel as well. Not only did it become one of the biggest comebacks of bollywood actresses but also the fourth highest-grossing bollywood movie of the year.
Her debut movie Kaho NA Pyaar Hai… with Hrithik Roshan got her a Filmfare for Best Female Debut.
