Sarai Kale Khan Flyover:  Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, inaugurated the new Sarai Kale Khan flyover. During this, CM Kejriwal stated that the traffic congestion at Sarai Kale Khan T-Junction will now be resolved. This will make it easier for individuals travelling from ITO to Ashram. The CM stated that in the 75 years after independence, 102 flyovers and underpasses had been erected in Delhi, 30 of which were built by the AAP government. Another 25 flyovers are being planned. 9 projects are now underway, with another 16 nearing completion. Half of these 125 flyovers would have been built during our administration's duration.

Possibility of Less Traffic

With the completion of this flyover, the Sarai Kale Khan T-Junction will not only be signal-free, but it will also relieve traffic congestion here. The Ring Road will make it easy to approach the Ashram from ITO and Yamunapar. PWD laid the foundation stone for a single-lane flyover at Sarai Kale Khan on September 6, 2022. The expected budget for the building of this roughly 643-meter-long flyover was Rs 65.55 crore, however, the job was finished for only Rs 50 crore.
