Dunki Teaser Release: Shah Rukh Khan is giving many surprises to the fans as he celebrates his 58th birthday today. Firstly, the makers announced the release of the blockbuster hit Jawan on OTT with an extended version, streaming from November 2, and will be available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. In another surprise, the makers dropped the teaser of his upcoming movie Dunki titled ‘Dunki Drop 1’, giving us a glimpse of SRK’s character as Hardy, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and others.

The 1 minute 50 seconds teaser opens with Shah Rukh Khan’s character Hardy and a group of people dressed in black walking in the desert while a man points a rifle at them and fires. The trailer also offers glimpses of the supporting cast, which includes Boman Irani as Gulati. The background track is somewhat subtle and calming if we compare it to SRK’s recently released Jawan and Pathaan, which broke all the box office records this year with a combined total collection of more than Rs 2100 crore globally. While we saw Shah Rukh’s quite rough and rebellious side in the last two films, Dunki seems on more calmer side and showcases a hint of patriotism that will surely take you on a nostalgic journey of Chak De India, Swades, and more of Shah Rukh’s subtle persona.

The first teaser of Dunki was released on King Khan’s birthday today, introducing fans to the surreal universe of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, known for his theatrical hits such as Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots. In Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan plays the character of Hardy, who wishes to move to London with his four friends, including Manu (played by Taapsee Pannu), and Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal). The story of the movie is set in Punjab, where these five young people want to move to London in the desire of a better life. The second teaser of Dunki will soon be released, with the movie all set for a theatrical release this Christmas.
