Dunki Trailer Release: SRK, Vicky Kaushal & Taapsee Pannu Starrer Is An Emotional Rollercoaster Filled With Patriotic Pride
Dunki Trailer: After smashing the box office charts and theatres with two of his biggest hits in the Hindi film industry, Shah Rukh Khan is once again ready to capture hearts with yet another story full of emotions and patriotism with Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming movie ‘Dunki’. The makers released the trailer as Dunki ‘Drop 4’, giving overall glimpses of this patriotic drama with a lot of humour, emotional moments, and full entertainment. Before this, Shah Rukh Khan already created a storm with two of his blockbuster movies ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawan’, where we saw him performing top-notch action scenes leaving fans in awe. While ‘Dunki’ has less action with a subtle theme, focusing more on narrating the quest of a group of youth from Punjab to leave the country.

The 3-minute trailer transports you to 1995, when Shah Rukh's character, Hardayal Singh Dillon (Hardy), arrives in a small town called Laltu and meets a group of young people who become an important part of his life- his best friends. The first is Balli (Anil Grover), a barber, Bubu (Vikram Kochhar), a garment seller, and Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal), who is eager to showoff his English vocabulary. They all have the same dream: to move to London. Then there's Mannu (Taapsee Pannu), Hardy’s love interest, who is always there to defend and stand up for him when no one else will.
While these five young people are eager to move abroad and leave the country, their dreams are constantly challenged by those around them, who claim they do not know the language. However, after losing one of their closest acquaintances, the group decides to travel abroad illegally. Their journey takes them through vast deserts, on train roofs, shot by soldiers, crossing through rivers, and climbing across mountains. The trailer concludes with Hardy determined to make amends for his mistakes in the past by participating in sports with a more patriotic spirit.

The trailer promises a good and wholesome storyline in a humorous way, which later comes out to be a cinematic masterpiece with a decent amount of action sequences, romance, emotions, comedy, and much more. The movie seems to be a full entertainment package with SRK once again winning hearts with his soft and mature side, accompanied by his 4 best friends in the journey of love, togetherness, and respect for their country. ‘Dunki’ is all set to release on 21st December in cinemas, a day before ‘Salaar’ starring Prabhas will hit the theatres.
