February New Rules: UPI, ATM Transactions, and More, Govt Announces New Changes For Next Month

New Rules From 1 February 2025: Many significant changes have taken effect in the country as of February 1, 2025. The new restrictions include ATM cash withdrawals, UPI transactions, banking rules, gas cylinders, and car rates, and they go into force on February 1. Furthermore, adjustments have been made to the prices of vital commodities such as gas cylinders and autos, which directly affect customers.

New Rules For February

The laws governing LPG gas cylinder prices and UPI will alter significantly again starting next month. According to the new NPCI rules, all UPI transactions with transaction IDs including special characters such as @,*, &,%, and $ will be cancelled. This rule goes into effect on February 1, 2025. In addition, Maruti Suzuki India has announced an increase in the prices of certain Maruti Suzuki models by up to Rs 32,500. Apart from that, Kotak Mahindra Bank has alerted its clients about future modifications to its customary features and prices, which will take effect on February 1, 2025.
