Himachal Pradesh Cloudburst:
The heavy rainfall in many regions of the country has wreaked havoc on the people thereby causing great difficulty for them in keeping up with their daily operations. The Indian Meteorological Department has already issued a Red alert for heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh.

As per the reports, a cloudburst in the Lahaul region has caused a sudden flood-like situation, which took away the life of a person, and 9 people have gone missing. While a person is also missing in the Chamba area of Himachal Pradesh.

It must be noted that the flood in Lahaul has claimed the life of 1, while 9 people are missing. A rescue operation was started by the Himachal Pradesh Police and ITBP, but the heavy flow of water caused hindrance in that. However, the rescue operation was resumed again on Wednesday morning and is still underway.
