Indian Police Force Review: Director Rohit Shetty has been delivering massive hits in Bollywood with terrific action scenes and a humorous approach, giving an adrenaline rush to his fans. From the Singham franchise to Golmaal, Rohit Shetty’s unmatched adventurous films have made him one of the lone wolves in the cinema industry who has never disappointed viewers and delivered the best of action. While hoping for the same this time too, fans were hyped about his directorial OTT debut series ‘Indian Police Force’ and were ready to experience breathtaking action and stunts featuring heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra. With a heavy heart, the show was unable to impress viewers and received a lukewarm response from fans.
Directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash, ‘Indian Police Force’ is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and casts Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi, among others. The story follows the age-old Bollywood ritual of depicting patriotism revolving around a Hindu-Muslim strategy, and ‘Indian Police Force’ is no exception except this time, it is the Muslim Police Forces vs the Muslim terrorists. Donned in crisp Khaki uniforms, Sidharth, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi take down bad people who took innocent lives with bomb blasts surrounding the capital Delhi, with shots of India Gate, Jama Masjid and other sights giving you a clear image of where and why these bombings took place. Amid cars flying and heavy destruction of vehicles and buildings, there are moments when Sidharth and his on-screen love interest Isha Talwar take the baton of lighting the mood with a little romance going on and off.

While the seven-episode series failed to reach the audiences’ hearts, Sidharth Malhotra always has his way of balancing heartbreaks. The actor has received immense praise for his brilliant performance and has certainly matched the high-octane action sequences even with his soft boy look. Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi also made a good impact with staggering performances, and fans will be more excited to see both of them getting a longer screen time in the anticipated second season.

#IndianPoliceForce is a LAME reiteration of Shetty's theatrical releases vs something new and inventive

It's only highlight are some long shot action set pieces but the storytelling is bland, unintentionally funny & I can only handle the sepia tone & drone shots for so long pic.twitter.com/JMoIMR6mX4
Nothing stands out, horrible writing, filled with cringe moments, seems like a forced project. Another awful content from Shetty. If you skip it, you ain't missing out on anything. #IndianPoliceForce pic.twitter.com/GssXEaKeh4
