The Classic K-drama Signal which revolves around a cold-case profiler and a detective to uncover a string of connected murders in the span of nearly 3 decades was released in the year 2016. Known as one of the best South Korean fantasy police procedural,involving the mysterious Walkie Talkie, the K-drama has won various accolades and is hailed as one of the highest rated K-dramas in the history of cable television. The Indian adaptation of this series is being bank rolled by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic entertainment and Oscar winner Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment.
Reportedly the Indian adaptation of K-drama Signal is titled ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ as of now. The Korean series boasted a multistarrer cast of Kim Hye Soo, Lee Je Hoon, and Cho Jin Woong.'Gyaarah Gyaarah' promises an interesting plot developed by filmmaker Umesh Bisht, taking the audiences on a thrilling voyage through three different historical periods - 1990, 2001, and 2016.The series will debut on Zee 5.
