Kailash Mansarovar Yatra: Another step has been taken to resolve the border dispute between India and China and bring peace. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which has been closed since 2020, is about to resume. According to the Indian Foreign Ministry, India and China have agreed to resume the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in the summer of 2025. The announcement came after Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Monday.

The beginning of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is considered a major step towards improving India’s relationship with China. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will begin after five years. Since 2020, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and direct flights between the two nations have been discontinued. In the year 2020, conflicts between India and China occurred in the Galwan Valley and Pangong Tso Lake in eastern Ladakh. Following this, tensions between the two countries rose, leading to the stoppage of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
