Parth Samthaan Biography: Television actor and model, Parth Samthaan is set to make his Bollywood debut with ‘Ghudchadi’ alongside Kauhsaili Kumar in the romantic comedy. Popular for his role as Manik Malhotra in ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’ and Anurag Basu in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, he has made himself a known name in the TV industry. Parth Samthaan Education
Parth Samthaan was born on 11 March, 1991 in Pune, Maharashtra. His schooling is credited to New Era High School, Panchgani followed by Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the esteemed L. S. Raheja School of Architecture.
With his piqued interest in the entertainment industry during his college days, he joined Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai to work on his acting skills. With his chiseled physique, and tall height modeling was the obvious first step for Parth. With his initial years in modeling, he finished as a runner up in Pantaloons Fresh Face Model Hunt but started gaining recognition among advertisers. He was soon a part of popular brand’s ads including Close Up.
Parth Samthaan TV Career
The year 2012 turned out to be a significant one for him, when he got his breakthrough with ‘Gumrah: End of Innocence’ followed by his notorious role of Prithvi Sanyal in ‘Best Friends Forever.’
What followed his recognition in youth shows was a series of episodics shows to his name with some notable being Life OK's Savdhaan India, MTV India's Webbed, Bindass's Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
He landed the role of show lead Manik Malhotra in MTV’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan in 2014 opposite Niti Taylor. Little did he know that this show would catapult his name, and success in another tangent, making him a youth favorite with his portrayal of the angry and flawed Manik.

With subsequent seasons of ‘ KYY’ Parth’s popularity rose, with his face becoming synonymous with Manik Malhotra.
In 2018, he landed the role of Anurag Basu in Star Plus’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay winning him Indian Telly Award for Best Jodi Popular and Kalakar Award for Best Actor Popular.
He was then a part of ALT Balaji’s Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 2 and Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu in 2019, and 2020 respectively.
Parth Samthaan Bollywood Debut
Parth signed his debut film ‘Googly Ho Gayi’ in 2016. But the movie got shelved despite the shooting due to demonitization in the same year. However, the following years turned out to be hard for Samthaan which he described as “devastating time” in an interview.
Emerging out of his despair triumphantly, Parth is now ready to make his Bollywood debut with OTT film ‘Ghudchadi’ on JioCinema slated to release on 9 August. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, and Raveena Tandon.

Parth Samthaan Relationship
Parth is said to have shared a romantic relationship with Bollywood actress Disha Patani around 2016. The two however broke up when the controversial allegations of Parth and Vikas Gupta’s rumored relationship started getting aflame in the industry.
During his time of shooting ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ he was rumored to be dating his co-star Erica Fernandez.
