Nancy Tyagi Mader Her Country Proud In A Self-Stitched Dress At Cannes; Know Her Story

Cannes 2024: Fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi made several head turn with her self-stiched creation at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. She wore a pink ruffled gown weighing 20 kg, made with a fabric of around 1000 meters on the red carpet, turning many eyes. She also became the first ever person to stitch her dress on the prestigious film festival’s carpet. 

Nancy Tyagi’s story   

The twenty-three-year-old from the remote village of Barwana, Uttar Pradesh started her journey by posting videos and photos of her self-stitched dresses on Instagram. She used to recreate the famous looks of Bollywood and in the 77th edition of the Festival De Cannes, she walked the red carpet in her original creation winning the hearts of many with her innocence and courage to own her roots.
