Maharashtra News: Protests Erupt in Badlapur After Two Minor Girls Sexually Abused, CM Shinde in Action

Badlapur News: Ever since the horrendous Kolkaka rape and murder of a female trainee doctor has shook the nation, numerous cases of sexual abuse and assults on women have been reported in different states. Where on one hand a female doctor was attacked by a drunk patient in Mumbai’s government hospital, another news have come from Badlapur about two minor school girls been sexually abused in Thane, with an attempt to rape. The accused, a male school attendant, is said to abuse the two kindergarten girls in the washroom. The case has erupted protests in the area, with people disrupting the trains at the Badlapur station, and destroyed school property.

SIT Set Up For Further Investigation

CM Shinde has also directed the Thane Police Commissioner to handle the case with urgency and has requested a review to guarantee that Sakhi Savitri committees, which are intended to protect kids, are constituted in all schools. In order to fully investigate the matter and guarantee that justice is done, the government has also established a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
