Miss World 2024: The 71st edition of Miss World 2024 Paegent announced its winner on 9th March 2024, held at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai. The event witnessed participants from 112 countries, competing for the prestigious Miss World Crown. This year’s glamorous finale was co-hosted by Miss World 2013 Megan Young and filmmaker Karan Johar. B-town celebs including Kriti Sanon, Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja Hegde, Neha Kakkar, Rubina Dilaik, and more joined the event with all shimmers and glitters, donning both casual and glamorous outfits.
Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic won the coveted Miss World 2024 title, becoming the second Czech winner after Tatana Kucharova in 2006. Krystyna is a Czech model currently pursuing degrees in law and business administration. She promotes education as a means of achieving sustainable development. Miss Lebanon, Yasmina Zaytoun, was crowned first runner-up, with Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago and Lesego Chombo of Botswana among the top four finalists. India’s Sini Shetty, the Femina Miss India 2022 winner, represented her country on the global stage before bowing out after finishing in the top eight.

During the event, Nita Mukesh Ambani, the founder and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, received the Miss World Humanitarian Award for her humanitarian efforts. The Miss World Organization’s Chairwoman, Julia Morley CBE, presented her with the award. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also made a video speech for the show. The selection of Miss World 2024 was heavily influenced by a distinguished panel of judges that included actress-social worker Amruta Fadnavis, cricketer Harbhajan Singh, journalist Rajat Sharma, and film producer Sajid Nadiadwala. This star-studded event also featured performances from singer Neha Kakkar, her brother Tony Kakkar, and Shaan.
