Early Life of Munmun Dutta

Munmun Dutta was born on 28 September 1987 in Durgapur, West Bengal. She completed her schooling from Oxford Modern Senior Secondary School in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She graduated from University of Mumbai and completed her master's degree in English Literature.

Career of Munmun Dutta

 Munmun had started as a performer at a very young age, she also performed in Akashvani and Doordarshan as a child actor. While she was in Pune, she started to work as a model and also did some fashion shows, from there she made more connections and she ended up in Mumbai. After reaching Mumbai, she made her very first acting performance in ‘Hum Sab Baraati’ of Zee TV, after her debut, she appeared in her first film Mumbai Express, it was a  Kamal Hasan Film. In 2006, she appeared in a film called ‘Holiday’. In 2014 she appeared in the Sony daily soap ‘CID’, which is a crime thriller show. She also appeared in ‘Dhinchak Express’ a film released in 2015. In 2018 she did a short film ‘The Little Goddess’ and also appeared on the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’ season 10. She came to ‘Kon Banega Crorepati’ season 13 as a guest

Awards and Nominations

Munmun Dutta has been loved by the audience for her work, her character in the daily soap ‘Tarak Mehta ka Oolta Chashma’ has been appreciated by everyone and she also earned recognition for the same.She was nominated for Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award India for the Favourite TV actress award, she also won the Indian Television Academy Award in the category of the Best stress in a supporting role.

The actress was recently seen in Bigg Boss 15 in a special guest role, she might appear in the next season of the show Bigg Boss 16 as a contestant.
