Odisha Train Accident: Kamakhya Express Coaches Derailed, Rescue Operation Begins

Odisha Train Accident: A massive train accident happened in Odisha, in which 11 AC coaches of Kamakhya Express, running between Bengaluru and Assam, got derailed. It is said that the train derailed at Manguli Passenger Halt in the Chaudwar area. NDRF and medical teams have been dispatched for the rescue effort. 

Routes Diverted, Rescue Operation Continues

The Bengaluru-Kamakhya Superfast Express train derailed at Choudwar in Cuttack, Odisha, on March 30 at 11:54 a.m. The train’s 11 AC coaches derailed, diverting the routes of the Nilachal Express, Dhauli Express, and Purulia Express. Relief and rescue operations are currently underway at the scene of the tragedy. Rescue operation is being carried out by medical teams, the NDRF, and firefighters.
