Pakistan Weather: Severe Heat Affecting Daily Lives, Mercury Reaches 52 Degrees

Pakistan Weather: People in many parts of India are currently experiencing extreme heat, scorching sun, and hot winds. Similar weather is been witnessed in the neighbouring country of Pakistan. Temperatures in Pakistan's southern province Sindh have risen to 52 degrees Celsius, the highest this summer.

Electricity Down, No Relief From Heat

Temperatures in the Sindh city of Mohenjo-daro reached 52.2 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department predicts that the impact of heat will be reduced in Mohenjo Daro and surrounding areas in the coming days, but heat may persist in other parts of Sindh, including the country’s largest city, Karachi.
