Adipurush: Makers release New Poster on Hanuman Jayanti; know why the movie was postponed?

All-India star Prabhas is currently busy working on numerous projects. On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the Adipurush team revealed a brand-new poster from the movie, which stars Devdatta Nage as Hanuman.

Adipurursh New Poster

Om Raut’s film Adipurush is based on the Ramayana. Devdatta Nage is seen on the poster in a contemplative position. We catch a glimpse of Prabhas, who plays Raghav in Om Raut’s landmark work, in the background. Prabhas shared the poster on social media and added the following caption: “Ram ke Bhakt aur Ramkatha ke praan...Jai Pavanputra Hanuman (a devotees of Ram and life of Ramkatha...Hail Lord Hanuman). On June 16, 2023, Adipurush opens in theatres all around the world.”

Adipurush Release Date, Cast

Adipurush’s creators released a poster featuring Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage as Bajrang on Ram Navami. The lead actor of the movie Prabhas shared the poster and wrote: “Mantron se badhke tera naam Jai Shri Ram (Your name is greater than all chants. Hail Lord Ram).”

The multilingual theatrical debut of Adipurush, which is a high-budget mythical drama, is scheduled for June 16, 2023. Saif Ali Khan plays the lead role in this movie, and Kriti Sanon plays the female lead. The movie also stars Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan, and Sunny Singh.

Adipurush Postponed 

Adipurush will be released in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film was originally scheduled to be released on August 11, last year. However, the release date was postponed to prevent a clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
