Streaming Platform

The highly-anticipated sequel of the 2023 film, Pushpa: The Rise, Pushpa 2’s digital rights have been secured by Netflix. The film will be ready to stream on Netflix after 29 January after finishing its mandate theatrical run. Netflix has confirmed streaming film with a 23-minute extended version with never-before-seen footage, fueling the excitement of the audience awaiting Pushpa 2’s OTT release and the ones who wish to re-watch it again on the streaming platform.

The film will be streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Release Date

As the norms of any film’s OTT release go, Pushpa 2 also has to complete a 56-day mandate run in the theaters nationwide and globally. The film released in theaters on 5 December 2024 implying the film will be released on Netflix in the last week of January or the first week of February. 

Cast

The stellar cast of Pushpa 2 brings Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj back with Rashmika Mandanna as her wife Srivalli, Fahad Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh with Jagapathi Babu, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay.

Pushpa 2 is directed and written by Sukumar under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

Plot 

Pushpa Raj has risen to power as a sandalwood smuggler but made SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat IPS who is on a hunt to dethrone him from his popularity and power. With its power-packed action, and intense emotional hold, the film rules at the box office with a massive return to the makers.  

Box office collection 

Pushpa 2 has broken the records of the films like Bahubali 2 and RRR. The film has earned Rs 1231 crore domestically and Rs 1738 crore worldwide so far.
